In a recent development, the Indian government has authorized six new eVisa ports of entry for foreign nationals. These new ports are located in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, and Telangana.Indian eVisa ports allowed for exit will increase the number of Indian visa-issuing facilities to 72. 

The decision to authorize these new eVisa ports comes as a result of India’s efforts to improve its infrastructure and make it easier for foreign tourists to visit India. In addition, this move will help to promote tourism and trade between India and other countries. 

Foreign nationals who require an Indian visa will now be able to apply at one of the six authorized eVisa port locations. Foreign nationals who do not require a visa can travel through any of the six authorized eVisa ports without having their visas checked. India has now allowed its citizens to use eVisa ports for their exit from the country. This was announced in a notification by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Indian nationals will now be able to use eight eVisa ports which are as follows: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. The purpose of this is to increase efficiency and reduce travel time. 

This is a major development as it allows Indians more choice in terms of where they want to go and how they want to get there. It also makes traveling to India easier for those who have visas for other countries but would like to leave through an Indian port.
